My name is Hannah. At heart, I am a traveler. I was raised in cities including Singapore, Los Angeles, Busan, Seoul and Shanghai. Pomelo Seed is where travel, photography and thought come together—an Internet home where I seek to share the beauty and humor of authentic, cross-cultural experiences.
I left my home and family at fourteen to live out of a suitcase with Think Global School, a traveling boarding school where I graduated in 2015. Over my four years there, I lived in Ecuador, Thailand, Germany, Argentina, Bhutan, USA, India, Tanzania, Japan, New Zealand, Costa Rica and Greece.
"Terminal" (터미널), my travel photo essay book, was translated into Korean and published by Mujin Tree Publishing House in 2014. My first solo exhibition "The Way They Are" opened at Gallery Mark in Seoul on November 13, 2014.
Currently, I am completing my undergraduate studies in Comparative Literature at Columbia University. You can contact me and find colorful updates on my social media.
